I loved seeing the progress Moldova has made, especially in the digital public sector and its innovative solutions. The citizen-focused design and ease of use were outstanding. With so many services now digital, it felt like the presentations would never end! A true model for other countries, with top-notch hospitality.

Thank you to the wonderful organizers of Moldova Digital Summit for bringing me to Chisinau! It was my first time visiting your beautiful country and I was impressed by the energy of everyone I met. Moldova has a big couple of years ahead of it: a presidential election, a referendum on EU integration, and a parliamentary election are looming, while the country remains in the informational crosshairs of a particular larger neighbor.
Sharing the stage with the Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalisation, and hearing about their efforts towards a 100% digital state was quite inspiring. My keynote on Responsible AI kicked off further conversation with different members of the government on how to ensure responsible and ethical implementation, adoption and use of AI technologies amongst their citizens.
Little might be known about Moldova’s economic and technological potential internationally but that does not mean the potential and the opportunities are not there.
The Moldova Digital Summit is a must for those who would like to discover them. It offers a deep dive into the country’s IT sector, start-ups and digital transformation efforts and shows just how much more there is to uncover. I’ll see you there.”
